Jar buyback program

Since 2023 Cinnawin has taken action to help reduce waste by switching from plastic deli containers to glass jars for the Homestyle Cinnamon Spread product line.
It's time to take it a step further by offering a jar buyback program.

how it works

step 1:

After your Homestyle Cinnamon Spread jar is empty and you've decided you don't want it, DON'T THROW IT OUT!

Step 2:

Sell your empty Homestyle Cinnamon Spread jars and/or lids back to Cinnawin.

Both sizes accepted. E-transfer only.

Step 3:

After your Homestyle Cinnamon Spread jar is picked up or dropped off the recycling process begins. Your jar is then thoroughly cleaned and sanitized so it can safely be refilled with Homestyle Cinnamon Spread.

How do i get started?

PLEASE NOTE: Only eligible glass jars and/or lids will be accepted and compensated for

For your glass jars and/or lids to be considered eligible it/they must include ALL of the following:
- Be legally purchased through Cinnawin directly or a Cinnawin retailer
- Not have any cracks, chips nor be broken in any way
- Jars and/or lids that were used for Cinnawin products only, jars/lids from other businesses will NOT be accepted
- Jars must have been opened and are empty (a small amount of residual Homestyle Cinnamon Spread is expected)

a note about drop-offs

Please leave all eligible items by the door at: Bay #4 918 8th Street South Martensville SK. All items that are deemed eligable will be compensated for within 24 hours.

a note about e-transfers

Your compensation for all eligible items will be payed out using Interac E-Transfer. If you are not registered for AutoDeposit you will be asked to input an answer to a security question the answer will be "CINNAWINFOOD" if you are registered for AutoDeposit you will not require a security answer. Cinnawin is not responsible for any mistyped email addresses that result in compensation being sent to an unintended email address.
