Online Store update May 2025

Good day everyone. I hope you all had a great long weekend.

Its been a very eventful last few months. I truly appreciate the orders, comments, and emails you all have sent my way. It inspires me to keep going and make improvements wherever I can.

The not-so-great news
As of this week a challenge is approaching that many small businesses have been dreading and that is the imminent Canada Post strike. Since opening the online store I've used Canada Post exclusively to ship packages out to you. It's not known at this time how long the strike will go on for so until its over I recommend selecting "Standard Shipping with UPS" for the time being.

UPS shipping is a newly added option which will appear during the checkout process. The Canada Post shipping option will remain however I cannot guarantee when your Cinnamon Spread will arrive if you select it as your shipping option.

The UPS option will be a flat rate of $55 per box, this price is subject to change if the average price to ship a box changes.

I believe this strike will not last as long as the previous strike last Christmas nor will it put as much strain on other shipping service providers so we'll see how it plays out.

The good news
On the other hand I'm happy to announce that I actually have product to ship. Homestyle Cinnamon Spread is currently available for purchase on the online store in both sizes. On another note, pickup orders have proven to be a useful option so that's always an option as well.
